The Monterey Trail High School Mustang Band program offers students the opportunity to join a dedicated and high-achieving musical community that plays an important role in campus life and the broader community. The MTHS band is known for its discipline, school spirit, and strong sense of family. Participation requires commitment beyond the school day- but in return, students gain valuable musical experience, lasting friendships, and a supportive, welcoming environment enriched by social events and shared traditions. The Band participates in over 20 performances each year, including concerts, festivals, competitions, school events, and community appearances throughout the Sacramento area, Bay Area, Central Valley, and beyond.
