School Instrument Information
Instruments will be available to check out from the school on the first morning of band camp. There is a limited supply of instruments and are available on a first come, first served basis. Priority will be given to students who do not have an instrument before students wishing to change instruments can be accommodated. At the moment, I have the following instruments available:
Flutes - 3
Clarinets - 2
Alto Saxophones - 2
Tenor Saxophones - 3
Baritone Saxophones - 3
Trumpets - 3
French Horns - 4
Trombones - 3
Euphoniums - 3
Tuba - 3
Oboes - 2 (not for marching)
Bassoons - 2 (not for marching)
Bass Clarinets - 3 (not for marching)
The best solution is always to provide your own instrument. If you are borrowing from the school, we are limited to what is available. Every effort will be made to pair the student with the instrument they are most comfortable, however, in some cases a student may need to switch instruments.
If you would like to rent an instrument, you can visit https://www.klinemusic.com/ https://skipsmusic.com/ and https://www.timsmusicsacramento.com/ All three are Sacramento area music stores that rent band instruments. You will also be able to purchase reeds, sticks, valve oil, etc. from any of these stores.
